Dave has asked us to put something up about his latest adventure, he's running an Ultra Marathon with Alex Flynn, who suffers from Parkinson's Disease and is raising funds to help find a cure for Parkinson's. They're currently doing the Europe135, which is a 135 mile race in 60 Hours. Alex is also doing a number of other challenges, when he's done he will have run over 10 Million Metres and hopes to raise lots of money in support.

The women of Bolton Tri Club (see photo)turned out in style at the 2010 Deva Divas triathlon on 25th July and were cheered on by their male fans and their families. Eleven club members (see photo) donned their wetsuits for the 750m swim and five walked away with prizes. There were 249 women in the race but Heather Jackson put Bolton on the map from the start. She won with a time of 1:01:28 and was 2 and a half minutes ahead of the second finisher even though she came off her bike in the wet conditions......

Lady members, we are considering trying to enter a team into the northwest series next year, I think you would have to do 3-4 races from the list to count, i have already spoken to some and there seems to be some interest. I will let you know what we have in mind after the this season draws to an end.
